3DNA is a new software architecture that seamlessly integrates the Windows desktop, Web browsing, and portal visualization in a beautiful and intuitive 3D virtual environment. 3DNA is unique in offering a modular system for integrating these functions with breakthrough patentpending technology that significantly enhances end -user productivity and personalization. 3DNA does not replace the existing operating system; it simply enhances it by providing an elegant 3D GUI. 3DNA doesn't compete with Windows; it wraps a 3D shell around it, just as the original Windows was a 2D shell to DOS.
The structure will consist of a main circular area with a domed glass roof held in place by some sort of lattice structure. The floor will also be constructed partially from glass. There will be four symmetrically extruded portions of the room used to extend the floor area. These can be used either to house the functional bays or as viewing decks. On the upper level will be a circular walkway, which can be reached by an elevator.
Coming off this main structure will be a second zoned area, which may be connected via a short corridor. This secondary area will house a dive pool in which a half submerged marine vehicle will be found. Upon launching the game the player will be transported into the vehicle and will be moved to an area above the main dome where the game will commence.
All areas of the lab will be surrounded by many kinds of marine life, swimming amongst the rocky outcrops and seaweed. Several new effects will be created to simulate an underwater environment such as emulation of caustic light refraction, sunlight rays, bubbles, and fog effects for depth cuing.
